Traditionally "generator canopies" are large rectangular box-like enclosures that are placed on top of generating sets to protect them from the effects of environment and to reduce the noise that is emitted from the "diesel engine". From the outside, most canopies look pretty much the same but there are significant technical challenges and several design approaches. Many generator suppliers outsource the canopies to a third party and once the generator is installed, the canopy is placed on top of it, to do the needful. Use of this approach makes the enclosures significantly large and not entirely built to the "acoustic" footprint of the particular engine. Thus the noise levels are high and the enclosures are bulky and unsightly.

We have our own fabrication and R&D facility. Being an "engineering company" to the core, we have spent countless hours trying out canopies with varied designs. We do sound level measurements and make sure that the air-flows are sufficient for cooling in high temperature. We collaborated with one of best Italian canopy makers in the world and used their acoustic modeling experience to improve our designs while making our modifications to get perfect air-flows suitable for our weather conditions.

The end results are fabulous and practically the noise level is non-existent. You have to see a running sample at our office to believe the results. These have already been deployed by both Warid and Mobilink on their "telecom BTS sites" in populous areas where high noise levels can disturb the residents.  Homes can benefit from this too...
